I am Roy, The Struggling Blogger from Angeles City. As of this writing (May 8, 2013), I am exactly 45 years old (Yup! Today’s my birthday!) I am blessed with three beautiful children – Ralph Emerson, Edgar Allan and Angel Liza. My wife “went home” ahead of us in 2008 to prepare our place in heaven.

It was then that I turned to blogging. I actually started my first personal blog in 2004, although I was not really active then. Finding myself alone in 2008, blogging has been my companion. It was then that I became more active in blogging to keep myself busy.

The Struggling Blogger was created as a venue for expression of ideas that I cannot post in my personal blog which contains posts that are connected or has something to do with my life, my family, or myself.

This blog, on the other hand, contains views and opinions on things are happening around us, about personalities, news and events, or maybe reviews about books, movies and even TV commercials.

These may not always be positive views, some may even strike a chord. On those not-so-positive notes, I would always try to insert a little humor, even if sometimes I am the only who understands my joke.
